Abstract
The article deals with topical issues of knowledge economy formation in the conditions of post-industrial society development. Using the author's approach based on system analysis, the directions of development of the knowledge economy are determined, and the main characteristics of the knowledge economy are clarified. The scientific novelty and practical value of the article lies in the fact that the author identified the main problems caused by the development of the knowledge economy and proposed promising ways to eliminate them.

The article is devoted to the history of the development of investment activity in Donetsk region during the pre-war period. The above-mentioned material highlights the problems and prospects for the development of investment activities in an uncertain of the legal status of the Donetsk People’s Republic during a long armed conflict. Abstract
The article reveals the evolution of human resource management concept. It consists of 5 stages: prehistory of human resource management in ancient times (before 1800); the formation of class structure of industrial society (1800-1920); establishment of the International Labour Organization and adoption of international labour standards (1920-1980); theoretical evidence and further development of the human resources management concept (1980-2000); Intellectual capital and strategic human resource management (since 2000). The article discloses the main factors that had influenced the emergence and expansion of the human resource management concept.
