ESSENTIAL AND REDUNDAND GATEWAYS IN BPMN 2.0

Abstract
Business Process Model And Notation (BPMN 2.0) is considered with a special attention payed to the gateways. It is shown that only two of 7 gateway types offered by BPMN specification are essential; the others can be substituted by proposed techniques. The target audience are busines process analysts and designers.
