THE ROLE OF THE BANK OF RUSSIA TO IMPROVE CORPORATE GOVERNANCE

Abstract

Since the middle 1990 's theme of corporate governance has attracted increasing attention of researchers and practitioners both abroad and in Russia . However, after successfully writing the Code of Corporate povedeniya interest of the Russian legal and business community to this issue has decreased significantly. This seems to be due to the fact that the document appeared in the same circles created the illusion that his mere appearance is already leading to the correctness and large corporate business. On the other hand, numerous studies in recent years in this area at any given objective indicators that would indicate that the quality of corporate governance affects the financial and other performance of the company.
