The article analyzes the development of smart containers, smart warehouses and drones using domestic and foreign examples. The advantages and disadvantages of some forms of digital logistics are highlighted. The successful experience of implementing digital logistics in the sphere of cargo delivery from the manufacturer to the consumer is studied. Conclusions are drawn about the need to form a digital ecosystem in the Russian cargo transportation market, and the main directions for its building are formulated.
