The article analyzes the state of SME exports in Russia. Its regional trend in the number of small and medium-sized enterprises engaged in export activities is shown on the basis of statistical data. In conclusion, conclusions and recommendations on the development of Russian exports in the SME segment are made.

Terms The fourth industrial revolution, the digital economy, Industry 4.0, the new technological structure have firmly entered our life. The probability of the destruction of the previous model of the functioning of socio-economic systems is increasing.  Some professions may disappear altogether due to the introduction of new technologies.
